KANSAS CITY, Mo. – An estimated crowd of 800,000 people flooded the streets of downtown Kansas City on Tuesday to celebrate the Royals’ first World Series title since 1985. Championship parades and rallies are joyous occasions regardless of the team or city. But this one was special. MLB Postseason Baseball

The MLB Championship Series field is set.  Royals-Blue Jays and Cubs-Mets.  With the exception of the Royals who ended their 29 year playoff drought last year, we are looking at 3 teams who have waited at least 7 years to enjoy the thrill of playoff baseball.  Ironically, the team who most recently won the World Series is the same Blue Jays who previously held the longest playoff drought before winning the pennant in the American League East this year.  There are story lines abound and we here at Sporting Up will be closely following the race for the next World Series Champion.  Please check...
